I might be biassed when talking about Buzzard Billy’s as it is where I worked as a line cook in college. Given the perspective, I’ll tell you a few things about Buzzards. 1) I believe they crank out some very good, well made food. 2) I have always thought they have a fun atmosphere. 3) Don’t mistake baking soda for baking powder, it will ruin your hush puppies. Given that I’ve made and eaten everything in the restaurant, here is what I think you should order: Start with the Armadillo Eggs as an app, move on to red beans and rice w/ a cup of gumbo and then finish with the bread pudding. The French Quarter Tuna is also pretty good, but you should get it at Steve’s spice level (I haven’t worked there for ages, so I hope they still know what that means.)
